La Paz is a traditional town, one that is made for sight-seeing, and quaint strolls down the streets. It has plenty of natural museums, which include the Serpentarium (located at the southernmost part of the malecon) and the Aquarium (located next to Hotel Concha). However, it also has its share of lovely quiet beaches, and it also has several offshore islands (e.g. Los Islotes), where sea lovers can go snorkeling, kayaking, diving, and even visiting the neighboring colony of sea lions.
South of Lapaz is El Triunfo, an old mining town, that also has plenty of unique, intersting sites. It has the Cactus Sanctuary, which is a thriving learning board for the area's flowering plants and trees. Some visitors tend to stop in El Triunfo on the way to Todos Santos to check out the mines,
After El Triunfo, we then come to Todos Santos, a quaint, lovely town that has an impressive selection of art galleries, historical sites and cafes. One of its historical sites include Misión de Nuestra Senora de Pilar, ranked one of the must-see place in Todos Santos. The church was built above the Todos Santos town and it offers an amazing view of the Valle de Pilar and the sea. It is one of the classical examples of the original architecture and furnishings that survived over the years. Another iconic place in Todos Santos is the Hotel California, a hotel inspired by the Eagles' 70's hit song of the same name.
Moving further South, we then finally come to Los Cabos, a town that keeps the tourists coming with its charm and the sheer amount of activities one can do in it.
